An EMERGENCY ALERT has been issued at 5.20pm Thursday February 13 by Charters Towers Local Disaster Management Group.

This is a CRITICAL WATER ADVICE from the Charters Towers Local Disaster Management Group for CHARTERS TOWERS. Charters Towers will be moving to a level 5 water restriction (essential use only) from 9pm today. The Charters Towers community must continue to remain vigilant with water usage, ensuring water is conserved where possible.
