Police have charged a further two people following investigations into the armed robbery of a licenced premise at Acacia Ridge earlier this year.
Following extensive investigations by the Acacia Ridge Criminal Investigation Branch in collaboration with the Brisbane Organised Crime Squad, and aided by information from the public, four people have now been charged in relation to the robbery.
A 50-year-old Goodna man has been charged with two counts of robbery armed/in company, and one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence and possess tainted property.
A 45-year-old Goodna man has been charged with two counts each of robbery armed/in company, supply weapons, one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence, personation, possess tainted property and five counts of disqualified driving.
Both men are due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on January 15, 2025.
Investigations are ongoing, and police have not ruled out any additional co-offenders being charged.
