The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal traffic crash in Brookwater last night, 25 September.

Around 11.50pm, the rider of a Harley Davidson was travelling westbound on Augusta Parkway when he lost control near to the roundabout with Leon Capra Drive.

The rider, a 43-year-old Redbank Plains man, sustained critical injuries and was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital where he was later declared deceased.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing and anyone with relevant information, including CCTV or dashcam footage, is urged to contact police.
