A man has been charged following an investigation into a dangerous driving incident in Brisbane on 24 September.

It will be alleged around 9am, a black Ford Ranger was driven at speed onto a sports playing field on Granada Street in Wynnum.

Witnesses reported the vehicle’s details to police who later located it at an address in Manly. 

An 18-year-old man has been charged with one count each of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and wilful damage to property.

The driver was issued with a notice to appear at Wynnum Magistrates Court today, 26 September.
