Police have made an emergency declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) due to an ongoing policing incident in Bridgeman Downs.

A declaration was made at approximately 7.17am following a report of an armed man inside his house.

At this time there have been no reports of any injuries, or any shots fired.

An exclusion zone has been established while police respond, encompassing Trouts Road, Albany Creek Road, Beckett Road and Hamilton Road.

Residents within the exclusion zone are asked to stay indoors and members of the public and motorists to avoid the area.
