Detectives are investigating the sudden death of a 43-year-old Maryborough man in Granville yesterday, April 29.

Police were called to a Dundas Street address around 5.15am where a man was located with what is believed to be a gunshot wound.

Emergency services commenced CPR however he was declared deceased a short time later.

Investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances of the incident.
