The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating following a fatal two-vehicle traffic crash at Caboolture yesterday, April 6.
Initial investigations indicate, around 6.30pm a Fuso Canter truck and Hyundai i20 have collided at the intersection of Bellemere Road and King Street.
Two women, both passengers in the Hyundai, were declared deceased at the scene.
A baby boy, also in the Hyundai, was transported to hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The female driver of the Hyundai sustained minor injuries.
The truck driver, a 42-year-old Caboolture man, did not sustain physical injuries, however, was transported to hospital as a precaution.
Investigations are ongoing.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or may have relevant dashcam or CCTV footage, to come forward.
