South Australian Police are investigating an alleged murder in Adelaide’s western suburbs overnight.
Emergency services were called to Carey Avenue in Seaton at about 10.20pm on Tuesday night, after reports a man had been stabbed in the stomach.
Ambulance officers attempted to assist the man but he died at the scene.
The 19-year-old man was from the address.
A police spokesperson told ABC Radio Adelaide the investigation was is in its early stages but that they believe “they have a person of interest”.
SA Police said it is not believed to be a random incident.
Major Crime officers, Crime Scene investigators and Western District detectives attended the scene, and Carey Avenue has reopened after a closure yesterday.
SA Police are asking anyone nearby Carey Avenue that may have dash-cam or CCTV footage to contact Crime Stoppers.
