Emergency services are at the scene of a serious crash in which a pedestrian was hit by a truck at the Edinburgh RAAF base in Adelaide’s north.
Police were called to West Avenue at Edinburgh about 8:15am and have said the male pedestrian “suffered serious injuries”.
West Avenue runs through a defence technology precinct, and police said the crash occurred at the RAAF base itself.
Major Crash officers are attending the incident, but further details are unknown.
Police have asked drivers to avoid the area.
