A man has been charged with arson after a car was found destroyed at Kurralta Park in Adelaide’s south-west on Monday. 

SA Police said a Fulham Gardens man, 51, allegedly set fire to the Honda Civic sedan on Selby Street just before 10am.

Detectives are investigating whether the car was involved in a shooting at Wayville earlier in the day. 

The man was bailed and is expected to face court in June.

Officers were called to a Greenhill Road car park at Wayville on Monday morning after reports a man and a woman were shot at, before the assailant sped away in a car. No-one was injured in the shooting.

Police said they were still searching for the gunman.

The Greenhill Road building houses several businesses, including Scouts SA, Helping Heroes, Exurbia and Community Assist.
