A bus driver has been charged after a coach full of children from a Victorian school ran off the road north of Adelaide.
Emergency services were called to the Augusta Highway, about 8 kilometres north of Port Wakefield, at 6.40am after reports a bus with 42 children and five staff members from a Victorian school had run off the road.
The bus had become bogged in a paddock.
South Australian Police said no one on the bus was injured in the incident.
The driver, a 53-year-old man from Victoria, was arrested and has been charged with driving without due care and driving a heavy vehicle while fatigued.
He was bailed to appear in the Kadina Magistrates Court on August 21.
