Speaking of … congratulations to Rita Carmondy for taking out the AACTA earlier this week for her costume design on Netflix’s Heartbreak High!

I *loved* the looks in Heartbreak High and how the series showcased so many Australian designers while still giving each of their characters a unique aesthetic. Plus, they dressed like actual teenagers!

Elsa Pataky and Chris Hemsworth looking divine

VERY strong start to our red carpet coverage with this absolute bombshell of a couple.

I’m loving the no-tie thing Chris has going on, and Elsa has the perfect amount of jewellery on for this dress. Too early to call best on ground?

Hello, and happy AACTAs Awards day!

Tonight we’re celebrating the best of Australian film and television, and we’re thrilled to have your company.

I’m Jessica Riga and with the help of my more well-dressed colleagues on the ground, we’ll be bringing you the latest updates from the red carpet and ceremony.

So get comfy and hit that big blue ‘leave a comment’ button to tell us who you’re rooting for, who you think got snubbed, and which red carpet looks you’re loving.

Now let’s officially kick things off before they play the music over me.
