A man has died in a tractor accident at Riverton, in the state’s mid-north, last night.
Emergency services rushed to a paddock near the intersection of Mitchells Road and Slape Road just after 11pm following reports a man had been injured by a tractor.
Despite the efforts of paramedics, the 43-year-old man local man died at the scene.
Police said Safework SA has been notified.
Major Crash officers also attended to assist with the investigation.
Police are preparing a report for the coroner.
