Court hears how a woman’s childhood discovery led to a cold-case breakthrough

In 1994, a then eight-year-old was digging in her backyard when she uncovered some items that she immediately reburied. It was only 25 years later that she told the police about what she had found, a Supreme Court jury has heard.
