Police feared ‘black flight’ drug syndicate investigation would be exposed in court, magistrate told

A court has heard surveillance devices were used to monitor members of an alleged syndicate police believed were planning to import drugs from PNG, but they thought their investigation would be revealed following a drug bust in Melbourne.
