NSW Central Coast man charged with murder over death on South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula

A New South Wales man has been charged with murder after a body was found at Venus Bay, on South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula.

Police said they were called to the home on Sandham Street yesterday morning and found a dead 64-year-old man, from the NSW Mid North Coast, inside.

Detectives and a forensic pathologist attended the property, with police charging a 43-year-old from the NSW Central Coast — who was known to the deceased — with murder last night. 

The man is expected to appear in the Port Lincoln Magistrates Court later today.

Police will be returning to the scene this morning.
