Victoria

There has been one COVID-19 death.

There are 356 cases in hospital, with 16 of those in intensive care and one requiring ventilation.

There were 9,510 new cases on Sunday.

NSW

The state has recorded eight more COVID-19 deaths. 

There are 1,492 cases in hospital, 56 of them in intensive care. 

There were 15,683 new cases announced on Sunday.

Tasmania 

It was reported today that a woman in her 90s with COVID-19 died at an aged care facility in Tasmania’s north, on Friday.

The state has recorded 1,414 new cases, taking the total of active cases to 12,296.

There are 42 people in hospital with the virus, with 22 being treated for COVID-19 symptoms.

ACT

There are 62 COVID-19 cases in hospital, with three of those in intensive care and two requiring ventilation.

There were 795 new cases on Sunday.

Queensland

Queensland has recorded one COVID-19 death and 7,154 new cases. 

There are 500 people in hospital with the virus, including 15 in intensive care.

Northern Territory

There were 394 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in the NT in the 24 hours to 8pm on Saturday.

There are 33 patients in hospital, with six requiring oxygen and one patient in ICU.

Western Australia 

WA Health is reporting a total of 5,351 new COVID-19 cases.

There are 234 people with COVID in hospital, with 10 in ICU.

Sunday’s report includes two deaths dating back to April 4 — a woman in her 90s and a man in his 60s.

There are now 222 patients in hospital with COVID-19 in South Australia, including 11 in ICU and 10 on ventilators.

A woman in her 90s has died after testing positive for the virus.

The state has recorded 4,222 new cases, a drop of 555 from Saturday.
