What we know so far:
- 208,136 pre-poll votes were cast before today, accounting for 16.4 per cent of voting South Australians and a massive 75 per cent increase on the 2018 election
- 170,000 of them were postal votes (that’s 13.4 per cent of voters)
- None of those votes will be counted today because they are not allowed to under SA’s electoral laws
- That means the count in most seats should reach 50-60 per cent tonight. ABC election analyst Antony Green says this should be enough to call most seats.
