DPP apologizes to family after murder charge against accused Pilbara FIFO killer downgraded

A murder charge laid against Troy Hausler over the 2019 death of his work colleague Tobias Richter at a Pilbara mine site is downgraded to manslaughter in a Perth court because of insufficient evidence, prompting an apology to Mr Richter’s family by WA’s Director of Public Prosecutions.
