A man is fighting for life in hospital after he was shot in the face in Adelaide’s northern suburbs on Saturday evening.

Police said the 27-year-old victim presented at the Lyell McEwin Hospital with a gunshot wound to his face just before 7:00pm.
He was then rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a critical condition with life-threatening injuries.
Police are investigating when and where the shooting occurred, but believe it happened just before 7:00pm at Munno Para West.
While the investigation into the shooting is in its early stages, police have said it was not believed to be a random incident.
Police are now seeking witnesses to the incident.
