An Adelaide man will face a District Court trial for allegedly smuggling $20 million of cocaine into South Australia from Greece.

Tereapii Pokoina today pleaded not guilty in the Adelaide Magistrates Court to one count of importing a commercial quantity of cocaine in August last year.
The 46-year-old will be arraigned in the District Court in June before facing trial.
At the time of his arrest, Australian Federal Police (AFP) said they allegedly found cocaine concealed inside an air cargo consignment labelled as ‘welding’.
A joint agency investigation between the AFP and Australian Border Force (ABF) was launched in August 2020 after ABF officers selected the welding cargo for examination.
They arrested a man on September 8, after officers executed search warrants at two inner-city properties in Adelaide.
