The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal traffic crash on the Cassowary Coast, 8 November.
Shortly before 2.30pm, emergency services were called to a report of a collision between a truck and a car on the Bruce Highway at Damper Creek.
The sole occupant of a red Toyota Corolla, a 64-year-old Cardwell man, was declared deceased at the scene.
The driver of the truck was not physically injured.
Investigations into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
Anyone who may have seen the vehicles prior to the crash, witnessed the incident or may have relevant vision are asked to come forward.
