Police are appealing for information following a single-vehicle traffic crash at Kurby overnight, 1 November.

At about 3.30am, emergency services were called to Compton Road, east of the Logan Motorway off-ramp, following reports that a red Mazda had collided with a power pole.

Upon police arrival, the vehicle was located abandoned, and a 38-year-old woman and 7-year-old boy were located nearby.

The woman was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital, and the boy was transported to Queensland Children’s Hospital, both in a stable condition.

Police are appealing to anyone who saw the red Mazda with Queensland registration 744ZGM before the crash to come forward.

Investigations are ongoing.
