Police investigating the cause of a house fire in Caboolture earlier this week have released an image of a witness they would like to speak to as part of the investigation.
Around 12.30am on 26 October, police were driving along King Street when they observed smoke coming from a home.
They were able to extinguish the fire before it could take hold. The occupant was not injured during the incident.
Investigations to date indicate the cause of the fire is suspicious.
Officers believe the man pictured below may be able to assist with the investigation, however he is not accused of being involved in the fire.
Police are urging the man or anyone who knows him to come forward.
Anyone who was travelling along King Street between 12.15am and 12.30am, or anyone who may have relevant dashcam or CCTV is also encouraged to contact police.
