Police are investigating the death of a 3-month-old girl who was taken to hospital with serious injuries on 8 November 2024.
Initial information indicates around 10.15am on 8 November 2024, the infant was at a residence on Lynd Road, South Maclean.
The 3-month-old girl was transported from the residence on Lynd Road by ambulance to Logan hospital on 8 November 2024 and subsequently to the Queensland Children’s Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries on 9 November 2024.
Following extensive investigations, detectives from the Child Trauma and Sexual Crime Unit and Logan District Child Protection and Investigation Unit commenced Whiskey Brentwood.
Detectives have continued to examine all available information since the infant’s death, and encourage anyone who was on Lynd Road, South Maclean at the time or who may have any information that can assist with the investigation to contact police.
Investigations are ongoing and there is no further information available.
