The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal single-vehicle traffic crash in Caboolture on Monday evening, 12 October.

Around 5.55pm, emergency services were called to a report of an e-scooter crash on Lee Street.

On arrival, two Caboolture women, an 18-year-old and a 20-year-old, were found to be critically injured and were taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

The 18-year-old died in hospital this morning, 14 October.

The 20-year-old remains in hospital in a critical condition.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam vision to come forward.
