Forensic Crash Unit officers are investigating a fatal traffic crash today in Dalby.

Preliminary investigations indicate around 10.30am a white Ford Falcon utility was heading south on Blaxland South Road when it has left the roadway and hit a tree.

The driver and sole occupant, a 62-year-old Dalby man, died at the scene.

Anyone with further information or relevant vision, is urged to contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
