Upper Mount Gravatt police have seized a bag of dangerous drugs and charged a man follow reports of a suspicious vehicle being sighted in Upper Mount Gravatt.
Shortly before 11pm on 22 September, police received a report of a suspicious vehicle loitering on Pickerworth Street.
Responding general duties police located a Hyundai and a 38-year-old Noosa Heads man who allegedly fled from police on foot.
Officers arrested the man a short time later on Cremin Street. It is alleged the man was in possession of more than 700g of methylamphetamine.
He was charged with one count each of possessing dangerous drugs Schedule 1 drug quantity of or exceeding Schedule 4 and obstruct police officer.
The man was remanded in custody and is expected to reappear before Brisbane Magistrates Court today, 25 September.
