Detectives have charged a 16-year-old boy following investigations into the serious assault of a security guard at Coomera yesterday, 22 September.

The 16-year-old Coomera boy was arrested in Coomera this afternoon and has been charged with one count of serious assault person over 60.

He is due to appear at Southport Childrens Court tomorrow, 24 September.

This follows the charging of a 15-year-old Eagleby boy with one count of serious assault person over 60 earlier today.
