Police investigating a serious traffic crash in Prospect this morning are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam vision to come forward.
Initial enquiries indicate shortly before 12.15am, a white Isuzu D-max was travelling east on the Dawson Highway and began to veer right onto Prospect Creek Goovigen Road when it left the roadway, rolled and hit a tree.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 27-year-old Boyne Island man, was taken to Biloela Hospital before being transported to Rockhampton Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash are ongoing.
Anyone who was in the area at the time and may have relevant dashcam vision is urged to contact police.
