Police are appealing for public assistance as they investigate a single vehicle traffic crash in Tin Can Bay on Thursday evening, 27 August.
Around 11.55pm, emergency services were called to a traffic crash on the Esplanade involving a red Mitsubishi Pajero.
The driver, a 35-year-old Tin Can Bay man, sustained minor injuries.
Initial investigations indicate the driver of the vehicle had been involved in an earlier altercation at a local establishment on the Esplanade around 11.40pm. Following the altercation, the vehicle was observed driving in a dangerous manner.
Officers are appealing for witnesses who were present during the earlier altercation or who observed the Mitsubishi Pajero driving in the area, to contact police.
Police are aware of a social media post regarding the incident and are making further enquires.
Anyone who has relevant CCTV or dashcam vision of the Mitsubishi Pajero leading up to the crash, is also urged to contact police.
Investigations into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
