The Forensic Crash Unit is appealing for witnesses following a serious traffic crash involving a car and an e-bike at Berserker this afternoon, 17 August.
Around 3:50pm, a white Mitsubishi Outlander and a white e-bike collided at the intersection of Berserker Street and Rodboro Street.
The rider of the e-bike, a 15-year-old boy, was transported to Rockhampton Base Hospital with serious injuries.
The alleged driver of the Mitsubishi, a 30-year-old Berserker woman, has been charged with one count of drive while relevant drug is present in blood.
She was issued with a notice to appear at Rockhampton Magistrates Court on 9 October.
Three passengers in the Mitsubishi were not physically injured.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating and is appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash, or who may have relevant dashcam or CCTV vision, to come forward.
