Police have arrested two people after a stolen vehicle was tracked across the Gold Coast District last night, 14 August.
Around 6.40pm, police tracked a stolen grey Audi Q5 driving dangerously throughout the Gold Coast.
The Audi was reported stolen from a Biggera Waters residence on August 12.
Two police vehicles sustained minor damage when the Audi attempted to evade police at Oxenford.
Police successfully deployed a tyre deflation device at Nerang before the vehicle was abandoned near Whiting Street in Labrador.
Specialist police took an 18-year-old man into custody a short time later at a nearby residential address.
A 16-year-old girl was also arrested at Hollywell a short time after.
No officers or members of the public were physically injured during the incident.
Investigations are continuing.
