Two people have died following a motorcycle crash in Beenleigh tonight, 14 August.

Emergency services were called to Milne Street shortly after 7.30pm following reports a green Kawasaki Zx-6r ninja motorcycle had left the roadway and collided with a tree.

The rider, a 46-year-old Beenleigh man, and pillion passenger, a 22-year-old South Maclean woman, both died at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
