Detectives from the Upper Mt Gravatt Criminal Investigation Branch have charged two more people following a fatal traffic crash on Sunday 28 June.
Just before 7.30pm, it will be alleged that a 72-year-old female pedestrian was struck by a blue Toyota Hilux on Beenleigh Road.
The alleged driver of the vehicle, a 30-year-old Kingston man, then fled the scene.
The woman sustained critical injuries and later passed away at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
The vehicle allegedly involved in the crash was located burnt out at Avalon Road, Sheldon a short time later.
On 3 July, officers charged a 30-year-old Kingston man with one count each of dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death and left scene of incident without obtaining help, damaging evidence with intent and driving of motor vehicle without a driver licence disqualified by court order.
Following subsequent investigations, a 45-year-old Rochedale South man has been charged with accessory after the fact.
He is due to face Brisbane Magistrates Court on 2 September.
A 28-year-old Jimboomba man was also charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice.
He is due to face Brisbane Magistrates Court on 7 September.
