Police have charged a man and a woman following investigations into dangerous driving offences at Ningi last night, 12 August.
At approximately 11pm, police received multiple reports of a white Holden Commodore being driven dangerously along Browns Road.
It will be alleged the driver of the Holden swerved towards a marked police vehicle that was travelling eastbound on Bribie Island Road, forcing officers to take evasive action.
Following subsequent investigations, police intercepted the vehicle after it came to a stop in bushland off Browns Road.
A man and a woman were taken into custody at the scene.
Police conducted a search of the vehicle where they allegedly located a large knife, knuckle dusters, drugs and drug utensils.
A 27-year-old Park Avenue man was charged three counts of endangering a police officer when driving a motor vehicle, and two counts of dangerous operation of a vehicle.
He was also charged with one count each of dangerous operation of a vehicle while adversely affected by an intoxicating substance, stealing, obstructing police, threatening violence, possessing instrument of house breaking, driving a motor vehicle without a license, driving an uninsured vehicle, driving an unregistered vehicle, possessing dangerous drugs, possess utensils for use, and using a vehicle with a number plate recorded as cancelled, lost, stolen, destroyed or damaged.
The man is due to face Caboolture Magistrates Court today, 13 August.
A 20-year-old Mount Morgan woman was also charged with stealing, possessing a knife in a public place and unlawful possession of weapons.
She was also charged with three counts of possessing dangerous drugs and eight counts of possessing utensils that had been used.
The woman is due to face Caboolture Magistrates Court on 25 August.
