Police have charged a 32-year-old man following a series of incidents throughout Gladstone last week.
It will be alleged around 1.15am on 5 August, the man attempted to steal an ATM at a Sun Valley Road business in Kin Kora before leaving the scene in a gold Ford Falcon.
Around 2.10am, the same vehicle allegedly was allegedly involved in a fuel drive-off at a Glenlyon Street service station in Gladstone Central.
Around 1.20am on 7 August, the same vehicle allegedly drove between bollards and through the front sliding doors of an O’Connell Street sporting venue in Barney Point and driven through the lobby before driving away.
It will be further alleged around 2.05am, the man attempted to steal items from a grocery store along Shaw Street in New Auckland.
Around 3.20am, police received reports of a gold Ford Falcon on fire along Wuttke Road in South Trees. The vehicle fire was extinguished a short time later.
At approximately 11.30am, police executed a search warrant at an Aspland Street residence in Clinton and arrested a 32-year-old Gladstone Central man.
The man has been charged with seventeen offences, including two counts each of enter premises, and supplying dangerous drugs (methylamphetamine and cannabis), one count each of stealing, attempted stealing, unlawful use of motor vehicle, dangerous operation of a vehicle, evasion, damaging evidence with intent, and possessing dangerous drugs (methylamphetamine), and six counts of driving a motor vehicle without a license.
He has been remanded in custody and due to reappear before Gladstone Magistrates Court on 7 September.
