Police are appealing for information from the public as they investigate a serious three vehicle crash near West Haldon on Saturday, 8 August.
Emergency services were called to Gatton-Clifton Road at Heffer Creek, around 11.50am following reports of a crash involving a motorcycle and two vehicles.
Initial investigations indicate the rider was travelling north along Gatton-Clifton Road when he allegedly struck a caravan being towed by a Nissan Navara followed by a trailer being towed by a Volkswagen Amarok, which were travelling in the opposite direction.
The rider, a 26-year-old Wilsonton man sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Nissan, a 35-year-old Summerholm man, and the driver of the Volkswagen, a 52-year-old Sinnamon Park man, were not physically injured.
Anyone who witnessed the crash or may have dashcam or vision that could assist the investigation, is asked to come forward.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
