The Townsville District Tactical Crime Squad have recovered drugs, weapons and a sum of money after executing a search warrant at a Condon property on Wednesday, 5 August.

Officers entered the Lorikeet Street address around 3pm and conducted a search.

It will be alleged that methylamphetamine, cannabis, knuckledusters and a crossbow were among the items located, in addition to a quantity of money.

A 34-year-old Condon man was arrested at the scene and remanded in custody.

He has since been charged with eight offences including two counts of possessing dangerous drugs and one count each of unlawful possession of weapons, possessing utensils or pipes, and possession of property.

The man is expected to appear at Townsville Magistrates Court today, 10 August.
