A man has been charged following a break and enter at a business in Cleveland on 6 August.
At approximately 3pm, it is alleged a man used a fire extinguisher from an external wall of a business on Middle Street to gain entry into the building.
After entering he is alleged to have stolen a knife before fleeing the scene.
Following inquiries, investigators arrested a 30-year-old Cleveland man on 8 August.
He has been charged with enter premises and commit indictable offence by break.
He is due to appear before Cleveland Magistrates Court on 25 August.
