Police have charged two people following an alleged wounding at Jindalee on 30 July.
Initial investigations indicate that around 3:45pm, a physical altercation occurred between a group of people near an address on Arrabri Avenue.
During that altercation, a 42-year-old Jindalee man reportedly sustained multiple serious injuries, and three people fled the scene in a white Audi sedan.
No people were struck by the vehicle as it fled.
Emergency services were called a short time later, and upon arrival, first aid was provided to the 42-year-old Jindalee man before he was transported to hospital for treatment.
A 32-year-old Algester man was arrested at a residential address in Algester on 2 August and has been charged with one count each of wounding and enter dwelling and commit.
He has been remanded in custody and due to appear in the Richlands Magistrates Court on 9 October.
A 34-year-old Acacia Ridge woman was arrested in Acacia Ridge on 3 August and has been charged with one count each of enter dwelling and commit, wounding, possess utensils or pipes that have been used, and two counts of possessing dangerous drugs.
She has been remanded in custody and due to appear in the Richlands Magistrates Court on 6 October.
