Police are appealing for information following the serious assault of a man at Kelvin Grove last night, 24 July.

Around 10.25pm, officers were called to Victoria Park Road following reports a 27-year-old Kiels Mountain man had sustained life-threatening injuries after being assaulted by a group of people.

The group then stole the man’s blue BYD Shark vehicle.

Emergency services located the man with serious injuries and he was transported to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a critical condition.

Following investigations, the BYD Shark was located and police arrested two 17-year-old boys and a 16-year-old boy.

Anyone with relevant dashcam or CCTV vision of the area or stolen vehicle, is urged to contact police.
