A woman has been charged following multiple dangerous driving incidents between Marmor and Miriam Vale on 22 July.
It will be alleged between 9.40am and 11.10am, police received multiple calls for service of a dark blue Toyota Landcruiser driving dangerously along the Bruce Highway at several locations.
At approximately 10.30am, officers responded to reports of the Landcruiser allegedly driving into oncoming traffic resulting in a traffic crash between two other vehicles.
On arrival, police spoke to a 45-year-old female driver who fled south along the Bruce Highway in a Toyota Landcruiser.
Police tracked the Landcruiser to Miriam Vale, where it is alleged a police vehicle was deliberately driven into.
A 45-year-old Warwick woman was arrested a short time later and has been charged with eight offences, including one count each of dangerous operation of a vehicle and adversely affected by an intoxicating substance, drive U.I.L, endangering police officer when driving a motor vehicle, driving a motor vehicle other than as allowed under an interlock condition, evasion, breach of bail, possession of a knife in a public place, and serious assault of a police officer.
She is due to appear before Gladstone Magistrates Court today, 23 July.
No one was physically injured in the resulting traffic crashes.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incidents or has relevant footage to contact police.
Investigations are ongoing.
