INVESTIGATION
A reward is on offer for information into the murder of 50-year-old Dianne Angwin at her home in Bowen on 2 December 1997.

CIRCUMSTANCES
At about 12.30 am on Tuesday, 2 December 1997 Dianne Mary Angwin was stabbed in her home at unit 3/51 Leichhardt St, Bowen.

Ms Angwin was transported to Bowen Hospital however she could not be saved and died as a result of her injuries.

Ms Angwin was known to be a frequent patron of multiple licenced premises in Bowen, and on Monday 1 December 1997 she was seen socialising at the Bowen Bowls Club, returning home in the early evening.

Investigations indicate that Ms Angwin was woken by a person or persons who entered the unit during the night, where she was then fatally stabbed.
