Police have charged 36-year-old Capalaba man following three reported assaults in Capalaba between 28 June and 10 July.
Police will allege on 28 June, between 10:25pm and 10:45pm, a 61-year-old man was walking along Ney Road when he was approached by a man who assaulted the 61-year-old several times, before fleeing the area on foot.
The 61-year-old man was transported to Redland Hospital for treatment.
Around 6am on 6 July, a 58-year-old woman was packing a trailer on Greenup Street when she was approached by a man who allegedly assaulted her, before leaving the area.
The woman was taken to hospital for treatment.
It will be further alleged on 10 July, a 41-year-old man was standing outside a residence on Macquarie Street when he was allegedly knocked to the ground and assaulted.
The offender then fled on foot, before officers arrested a man at nearby address.
He has been charged with one count of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm and two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm.
He is due to appear at Brisbane Magistrates court on 11 July.
Detectives are not looking for any other offenders in relation to this matter.
