A 6-year-old boy has died following a serious traffic crash that occurred at Gleneagle on 6 July.

Initial investigations indicate at 2.14pm, a Subaru Impreza collided with Nissan Qashqai at the intersection of Mount Lindesay Highway and Gould Hill Road.

The 6-year-old Beaudesert boy, who was travelling in the Nissan, was air-lifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries but passed away today, 10 July.

The Forensic Crash Unit, who are investigating the incident, are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam to come forward.

Investigations remain ongoing.
