Detectives from the Gladstone Property Crime Unit have charged two people with 34 offences following multiple property offences in the region recently.
It will be alleged a 30-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man, both from Maryborough, were involved in a number of property crimes throughout the region, particularly a retail centre in Clinton.
Around 7:18pm on 1 July, the woman, who was wanted on an arrest warrant, was located by a police officer on patrol along Dawson Highway.
It will be alleged the woman attempted to run from the officer and enter moving vehicles on the Highway before she was taken into custody.
She was charged with 20 offences including three counts of enter and commit, and one count each of attempted robbery, attempted unauthorised use of a motor vehicle, wilful damage, and serious assault police officer.
She appeared in Gladstone Magistrates Court yesterday, 2 July, and was remanded in custody to reappear on 3 August.
Following further investigations, the man was located at a makeshift campsite in thick bushland.
It will be further alleged police located stolen property at the camp site.
He was arrested and charged with 14 offences including stating false name, enter and commit, stealing and possess drug utensils.
They were both remanded in custody to reappear in Gladstone Magistrates Court on 3 August.
Investigations are continuing.
