The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating following a fatal single vehicle traffic crash near Kilcummin this afternoon, 29 April.
About 3.50pm, police and emergency services were called to the Gregory Development Road, about 75km north of Clermont, following reports a white Foton Tunland had lost control and rolled.
A five-year-old boy was declared deceased at the scene.
A 29-year-old Townsville woman and a 3-year-old boy sustained serious injuries and were both airlifted to Mackay Hospital in stable condition.
The driver, a 30-year-old Townsville man and a 1-year-old boy were transported to Clermont Hospital with minor injuries.
Investigations are ongoing.
