Police are investigating an armed robbery at Rochedale South this morning, 30 April.
Just after 2am, five masked males gained entry to a home on Rhonda Street.
Two of the males were armed with what appeared to be a firearm, and one with a pinch-bar.
Inside, the group woke the five occupants – three adults and two teen juveniles – and demanded cash and drugs.
A 33-year-old female occupant was struck on the head with a firearm causing bruising and a laceration, and a 42-year-old male occupant was struck on the right hand and leg with the pinch-bar causing superficial injuries.
The group then stole a box of personal property including phones and other items, before fleeing.
The two injured adults were treated at the scene and did not require hospitalisation.
Detectives urge anyone with information, relevant CCTV or dash-camera footage to contact police.
Investigations continue.
