Detectives from the Pine Rivers Child Protection and Investigation Unit have charged four teenagers with robbery, deprivation of liberty and torture following an incident last week.
Just before 2.30am on Friday 17 April, it is alleged a teenage boy asked a 17-year-old boy to use his phone to call a rideshare service outside a property on Young Street in Petrie.
A red Kia Rio hatchback pulled over at the street with four occupants inside and it is alleged the 17-year-old was pushed into the rear of the vehicle by the other boy, where he was kicked, punched and tasered by the occupants of the vehicle.
The teen was then allegedly driven to Lawnton Pocket Road in Lawnton and removed from the vehicle to be subjected to further assaults before the five offenders fled the scene in the vehicle, taking property belonging to the victim.
The alleged victim was given a lift home by a member of the public who was passing by at the time. He sustained minor injuries and did not require hospital treatment.
A 17-year-old Banyo boy was later located at a Bowen Hills address. He was arrested and charged with two counts of armed robbery and one count each of deprivation of liberty, torture and possessing dangerous drugs.
Another 17-year-old Banyo boy was arrested at a Banyo address and charged with torture, deprivation of liberty and armed robbery.
They were both due to appear in Brisbane Childrens Court on 18 April.
An 18-year-old Banyo boy has been charged with torture, deprivation of liberty and armed robbery, and was due to face Brisbane Magistrates Court on 20 April.
A 17-year-old Deagon boy was also charged with torture, deprivation of liberty and armed robbery, and will face Pine Rivers Childrens Court on 27 April.
Investigations are ongoing.
Police are urging the person who dropped the alleged victim at his home to contact them.
Anyone with information or dashcam vision from Anzac Avenue in Petrie and Gympie Road in Strathpine between 2am and 3am on 17 April is also being urged to come forward.
